Burger King manager filmed screaming at customer for taking too long to order

A hungry Burger King customer in Ohio got an earful of expletives last Wednesday after the restaurant’s manager cussed her out for taking too long to order.

Lizzie Ramsey, of Newark, Ohio, said that she and her husband Cody — along with his co-worker and his 11- and 12-year-old brothers — had pulled up to the drive-thru of a nearby Burger King at around 8 a.m. to place their breakfast order. But every time Ramsey had finished ordering for one of the people in the car, the manager interrupted with the total price, and later told her to “hurry up,” despite Ramsey’s car being the only one in the drive-thru lane, WSYX reported.

i agree with you. a little organization goes a looong way at a restaurant. If you have kids with you, especially, just know what you want by the time it’s your turn.

Dont know the whole situation...but workers response was very rude....maybe she was struggling with new onset diarrhea or maybe that time of the month hormonal rush...or just being a jerk-ette....supposedly she had done it before...and she was threatened to be fired next time...so she vented her rage...as in “fire this”.....all toooooooo human...on the other hand I do greatly dislike folks who dont know what they want....and dont have their payment ready when the price is settled..

I think you may be referring to me, in which case you need a reading comprehension course.

All I am saying is that the customer should have let it go.

. Instead it’s obvious that she ruined her own day over the managers bad behavior.

I hear you. I would just say, that they are being paid to put up with the crappy parts of the job. Yes it’s aggravating, but they are being paid. If they don’t like it quit the job.

I'm supporting Burger King from now on. What is wrong with people that they have to stand at the menu trying to decide what to order? It is a freaking hamburger place. You get it double or single, with cheese or without.

And if you don't know what to order quickly, stand to the side until you figure it out so the rest of us can get what we want and be on our way.

Let me repeat...If you don't know what you want, don't stand at the counter holding everyone up!!! Thank you Burger King.

I work in retail and I get into hairy situations, but you don’t ever take your frustrations out on a customer. Not EVER. It’s called maturity and self-control, neither of which qualities are ever present in the Hispanic culture or personality, male or female. In fact it’s the opposite. There is something pathologically wrong with them. They are a cancer metastasizing into the fabric of our society. You don’t embrace a cancer. You remove it. I’ll say it again. If politically we as a people refuse to stomach mass deportations, we will be forced to stomach civil war.

I’m sure Americans wont kill each other because of a burger LOL.

My wife works in HR for an Owner/Operator with 12 McDonald's restaurants. Among her many duties there is answering the complaint line.

You would be stunned and amazed how nasty the customers can be. Expletives, threats of physical harm, all manner of vile & contemptuous behavior over that $2.50 burger. There are many complainants I would love to meet personally to offer an attitude adjustment.

The drive thru is for people who know what they want. The menu there is just a formality. If you don’t know what you want go inside.

I’ve never had any bad dealings with the mostly Hispanic fast food workers that I deal with here in Houston, but my mom and I did get one very cold reception from some black workers at a restaurant in Saginaw, MI. If you’ve never been to Saginaw, it’s very segregated and most of the motels are on the black side of town because that’s where I-75 is. My mom and I went to the Taco Bell down the street, and as we walked in the door, two black women in line gave us a look as though were invading their territory. Then, the black woman behind the counter never once gave us a friendly greeting or even smiled. Luckily, the food was all good. After that, we vowed to never stay in that city again.

Try reading the article before you post a comment. The Caucasian family ordered from the drive thru. No cars were behind them. They weren’t holding anyone up. Sorry to ruin your evening.
