None of these people had criminal charges brought against them; they were canned by their employer. I guess the days of employers like Fox spending $30-odd million to settle O’Reilly’s misbehavior are over.

I'm thinking that their employers either recieved letters from the DOJ or the victims presented assurances that the DOJ would take action. Nearly all of these involve multiple occurrences which would fall under the act.

It’s basically the white, male, liberal assholes that are out. They’re the ones that have been doing it with impunity. On the conservative side, we keep our house in order. We also have the discretion to know when it really is trumped up charges.

When men in public places diminish women and treat them as their little playthings, they deserve to be out. If you want a better foundation for consent, marriage is meant to do that. Of course if you think marriage is about securing eye candy, that probably isn’t going to work for you either.

They opened the box by trying to weaponize claims of impropriety - they are now eating their own as a result and Trump will leverage it - sweet!

I think not. More likely that the Times or the Post said that they were going to go live with the story and NBC and NPR did damage control.

And so? What different now...I'm sure there have been plenty of times when people have threatened to go to the press. And the press usually doesn't report them because after all they're just accusations. What is it that makes an accusation now of leftists firing offenses?

“The invisible AG Sessions won’t do a thing. He spent too many years in the epicenter of the Swamp.”

I’m getting tired of this narrative regarding Sessions. Everything Trump does, there is a reason for it. If he felt that this entire Russia thing was serious enough, he would have fired Sessions the day he recused himself.

Meanwhile, the DOJ is working on cases involving gangs dealing drugs to our children, and fighting illegals who are part of these gangs. Hillary can be prosecuted at any time. And Mueller’s actions are countered with a simple pardon. Plus, does anyone really believe that Trump has no clue what is going on with Mueller and company?

Also, as the establishment and libs fight Trump, Trump has gotten more done by himself legally in less than a year than Obama did illegally in 8 years.

“The invisible AG Sessions won’t do a thing. He spent too many years in the epicenter of the Swamp.”

I am beginning to think I will never see movement of any legal type by Sessions. Is he actually alive? Maybe he is a doppleganger?

Secondly, would Giuliani do better? I think so based on his work to clean up NYC.

Thirdly who are those people claiming to be Trump lawyers? If they are why aren’t they listening to Dershowitz a very prominent lawyer advocating removal of Mueller who has far exceeded his role and prerogatives?

Why do I feel so “backward” about all this? I know I am not alone in putting forward these questions.

When was the last time you heard the Justice Department going to a company and saying, "We're about to indict your boy. You might want to fire them first?"

What is it that makes an accusation now of leftists firing offenses?

They take the accusations seriously? Worried about publicity?

I agree except I think that their management has known about their actions for years and chose to ignore them until now that the SH#T HAS HIT THE FAN.

In the past, they chose to pay settlements to the aggrieved parties. Now they can not get away with that anymore.

There have always been dirty old men & women that have used their position of power to take advantage of young pretty things. It will be interesting to see who is next.

**************

LOL. Sessions is a do nothing bureaucrat who is so compromised that he is being manipulated by his longtime Washington pals to serve the interests of the Swamp.

I think Trump will soon replace him when the timing is right. It appears he was a big mistake, but its also possible that he was a plant all along. Someday we’ll find out the truth.

I also think the purge is of anti Clintonian players and to pave the way for a female president.

Personally I think it started with Fox.The other stations sat in their office chairs and laughed as Fox was being ripped apart. Now it’s their turn.

It gets very old when regardless of the serious crimes done by the left, some rectum tries to detract with blaming one of our people not even connected to the liberal bs/crime.

“I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m sick of it.”

I’m sick of it too. It seems like every thread on FR eventually gets hijacked by the anti Jeff Sessions trolls.

I don’t know whether Sessions is doing a good job or not, and perhaps that is as it should be. Perhaps when carried out properly, the job of Attorney General should not be easy for the public to gauge.

Perhaps, unlike in the Obama administration, the AG should follow the law and not be a partisan hack.

I’ll agree that his doings as AG are mysterious, but Jeff Sessions a swamp creature? I just don’t see it.

Did you miss the language in the statute that limits it to “state and local government employers”?

Oh how I miss that man...I like your theory and I sincerely hope it’s the truth - and Bannon keeps his foot on the gas.

I still watch a video or two of Andrew, when he so vehemently stated he was going after Podesta - who simply as to be the ugliest freaky rat face out there

“Hillary can be prosecuted at any time.”

That’s been true for years now and she’s still a free woman.
