Rep. Conyers attorney to me just now re: Pelosi: Pelosi has to "explain what the discernible difference between Congressman Conyers and Sen. Al Franken is." Says Pelosi isn't the determining factor for Conyers.

First of all, Pelosi & Conyers are in the Congress & Franken is in the Senate. Schumer needs to deal with Franken, if he has the guts.
Also Pelosi referred to harass & discriminate, so it sounds like there might be more to the story.

Too easy. Conyers is in the House and Franken the Senate. Piglosi is the leader of the House Dems and has more away over those members. Upchuck would have to push Franken from the Senate side.
