I am sure there were escape clauses in the contract to avoid these types of issues.

I am sure they will settle before this goes much further.

He signed a contract that stipulated that he could not sell the car for at least two years. By signing that contract, he was able to get a limited edition car that few others could own.

Enzo had black listed the Prince of Monaco for making a profit off of his F40 back then. The Prince bought it for a cool $300 thousand, sold it to his repairer a million who then flipped it for 3 million to someone else. Enzo was furious: “once you buy a Ferrari, you keep it out of love, not profit”.

I’m surprised at John Cena...always thought he was a stand-up guy. But a contract is a contract.

In Cena’s defense...”Ford contacted him about it, and he allegedly apologized, saying “I completely understand and as stated am willing to work with you and Ford to make it right.””

Contracts are contracts and as long as nothing in the contract is contrary to law, an opinion (by anyone, like one Freeper) that it is “sleazy” deal on Ford’s part, does not place Cena in the legal drivers seat. Cena would do well to settle. Law and time are both not on his side.

If you think something in a contract is not right or should not be there, should not be imposed on you, then you don’t sign it. You don’t sign it and then afterward ignore the contract & complain it isn’t right.
