I remember when cracked magazine came out to compete with MAD. It never was quite up to the competition. Vaguely. I do remember when kids said "you're cracked" to mean "you're nuts."
I also remember the expression from which the modern expression "that sucks" descended. That was popular about ten years after "you're cracked," at least where I grew up.

Same here. MAD was the gold standard of sarcasm and satire. Cracked never even reached bronze.
