President Donald Trump‘s undying love for fast food made its way back into headlines this week when his ex-campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and another ex-top aide David Bossie released their new book, Let Trump Be Trump, revealing the president’s McDonald’s dinner order while on the campaign trail.
The Washington Post, which obtained an advance copy of the book, reported that he once ordered “two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted.” As our sister publication Extra Crispy points out, the fast food chain does not offer a “chocolate malted”—but if you assume he was referring to the restaurant’s chocolate milkshake, the president’s meal would clock in at 2,530 calories with 114g fat and 3530mg sodium.
Here’s the nutritional breakdown according to McDonald’s website:
2 Big Macs 1080 calories 56g fat 92g carbs 50g protein 1900mg sodium
2 Filet-O-Fish 820 calories 40g fat 78g carbs 36g protein 1320mg sodium

He ONCE ORDERED four burgers. Doesn’t mean he ate them all himself. Even if he did, so what. The guy was on the campaign trail and going full steam.

It’s possible he just eats the meat patties like me. Years ago I saw Ann Coulter interview Donald Trump over pizza. She teased him about eating pizza with a fork, but I noticed that he only ate the toppings. I told my husband that I wanted to be rich enough to eat Donald Trump style—just pick the meat off the food. (I eat low carb)

Fat and salt are okay, it’s the sugar, corn syrup, and carbs that will kill you.

At 6’1”, 180 few would call me overweight. But it’s a far cry from my serious running days- as a 40 year old I started the ‘83 Boston Marathon at 157 pounds.
President Trump is a big guy, but I wouldn’t classify him as fat.
I remember seeing photos of Huma being sent by Hillary into a fast food place to get food for her mistress. Where were the food police then?

Once, while driving to work a double shift as a security guard, I ordered a whole sack of White Castles. Might have even stopped off for a Big Gulp. Glad no one caught me! That might have come back to haunt me one day.
