Ah thanks that’s a useful link. I hate those 538 bastards but they’re good with numbers.

My bowl picks for today

Celebration Bowl (aka Historical Black Colleges from the Championship Subdivision Bowl that I somehow missed the existence of until now): North Carolina A&T over Grambling State

New Orleans Bowl: Troy over The North Texas Mean Green

Cure Bowl aka the Bowl-Eligible Bowl: Western Kentucky over Georgia State

Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State over Oregon

New Mexico Bowl: Marshall over Colorado State

Oak gets tiebreaker over LA with win in week 17.
Best LA can do is tie div.
Oak is also 1-1 uncommon.
Best LA could do is tie conference at 6-6
Oak is dominant in SOV

Re: New Orleans Bowl: Troy over The North Texas Mean Green

I'll take my old Alma Mater North Texas to beat them Trojans just like the Greeks did back when Helen was #1 on the ship launching hit parade--

BTW Highland Park is back in the state championship, thanks to Jerry Jones’ grandson

In a battle of offensive juggernauts, Denton Ryan blinked first and could never catch up as the Highland Park Scots earned a shot at a second straight Class 5A Division I state championship with a 45-35 win over the Raiders late Friday at AT&T Stadium.

The defending champion Scots (14-1) will meet undefeated Manvel, a 35-10 winner over Angleton, next Friday at 7 p.m. on the same field.

-snip-

Highland Park quarterback John Stephen Jones put on a show,

continually scrambling out of trouble and finding open receivers among the Raiders secondary. He finished the game completing 25-of-36 passes for 381 yards and five touchdowns.

Perhaps in five or six year we could see a Jones playing quarterback for My Boys.

Yet with my luck, he'll be playing for Big's Packers or Pats-- OR them Godless Iggles or Deadskins!!!!!
