It always looked incredibly gross. Hubby took me into one of those “establishments” after the pub closed. I said......”I’m not eating THAT!” We proceeded to the local “chippy”. Cod and “chips” wrapped in newspaper......with a good dousing of salt and malt vinegar. Complete with a two-pronged wooden fork.
Bliss.
