The image at the top may be an actual photograph, while the second at the bottom is clearly and artist’s concept.

It will just need to leave behind a small ‘seed’ which will blossom into a 2-dimensional construct that will suck the entire system into it. Is life possible in a 2-dimensional world? We may find out soon ...

As for pajama boy Avi Loeb’s assertion that space faring cultures are likely friendly ... I just have to say, “Hahahahahaha, sucker.”

That’s the answer to Fermi’s Paradox - if there are alien civilizations, where are they?

Answer: hiding from other predators. No predator likes competition. Something we naively ignore.
