It becomes a felony when you retrieve any property from the residence. Even property that belongs to you. It is B&E for simply breaking in. Also a felony.

My old man was in the Navy on a minesweeper - WWII. He said he never ate better in his life!

IIRC Track married his pregnant girlfriend and divorced shortly after. He is not only embarrassing the Palin family but his daughter too.

If this is related to his ex-wife or an ex-girlfriend then Sarah and Todd need to pull him aside and say “Let it go—walk away! You’re hurting yourself, your family, your daughter.”

Was he in the military even long enough to develop PTSD? He was only in it a short time. I apologize if mistaken.

I’ll guess you thought that was very funny. It isn’t.

I saw a video a few days ago where Todd and Sarah had gotten together with the Duck Dynasty group. Not exactly sure of the time period, but thought it relatively recent. Todd seemed in good spirits.

Sorry re #66. That was about 3 years ago. Though I think Todd is still okay.

A painful story to read, but real problems are out there, real problems and God help us all to find sanity in our lives.

I identify as a drunk with a lot of anger in my life, I’ve met other drunks who ID as vets even active duty with PTSD.

Sarah Palin says this is an issue in her son’s life.

Pray for Track Palin to have sanity and sobriety in his life, peace and serenity.

He spent a tour in Iraq. How long or if it was
a complete tour I don’t know.

He’s a 28 year old man. His parents should not and don’t need to be pulling him away from anything. This is news because his mother is a public figure and the family participated in reality TV.

If it’s a “domestic” issue, they’re all public now and usually slant against the male involved.

As for PTSD, it’s a thing now. My Dad was a WWII Vet and from what I heard, came home far different than when he left. But, at that time, people dealt with their stuff. Now, it’s all “issues.”

Apparently, PTSD doesn’t have a time frame or parameters. Kind of like every other issue or condition nowadays.

He probably was living with a woman who recently threw him out, and he went back in to retrieve some of his stuff, whereupon she called police out of spite.

"Just entering into the house would have broken a court order. Taking anything, even if it was his, would be burglary"

I wonder if that depends on the state. Years ago my youngest son had been in a relationship with a woman. When they broke it off, he wanted to be able to pick up his stuff. She had put it in the garage. She was telling him he couldn't get any of it. He called the police, and they escorted him to the house, and advised her that she had no choice but to let him get his property. They had bought the house together, and she had taken up with her old boyfriend, throwing my son out of the house.

Here, burglary is: unauthorized entry with intent to commit a felony. Small, but significant difference.

"domestic violence"

It seems to be a repeated offense against his girl friend over the course of years?
That is a guess.

Obsession can be mentally disabling.
I hope he can get over it in this case her.

I so sorry to hear this.

We aren’t even talking substance abuse or dui but burglarizing?

You can be charged with "home invasion" in some states without anyone being in the house.

A "burglary" charge without any actual burgling is not out of the question...
