The ‘casting couch’ has been infamous for a century.
Read The Star or The National Enquirer sometimes, and you might learn something.
And the winner is...ROMAN POLANSKI!
Some say the best acting she did was on Harvey’s casting couch.
She wants us to believe she knew nothing, AND she has a “home phone” that she’s sitting by while waiting for Rose to call. Meanwhile, movie roles continue to fall in her lap, as if she’s a white Morgan Freeman.

Meryl is much more of a political animal than is good for her.
It's hard to have much sympathy with somebody who turns something like this into an opportunity to score political points.
One might get the impression that she ignored the stories about Harvey because she he was on her side politically.
Or maybe she's just been playing hoity-toity roles so long that she always acts like she's speaking from a great height.
Wasn’t she involved with Jon Cazale (who was the unsung talent from the Godfather)?
Many celebrities made public statements about Weinstein’s conduct across many years prior to 2017, so for any celebrity who had worked with him to claim that they had not heard is false, and a way for them to proclaim themselves invincibly ignorant.
She cannot run from that.
Harvey hired ex-Mossad agents to dig up dirt on Rose and other accusers.
