Seems to me that, given the circumstance, Trump’s recent EO could be used to freeze that retirement pension.

Apparently the POS is civil service so it is difficult to fire him. Can his “retirement” be frozen while he gets tied up in investigations of his misconduct? It would also be more leverage for testimony, since once he is out of govt it may be much harder to get any cooperation from him.... he will just plead the 5th. Maybe he will do that now, but while he is still officially with the FBI there may be more levers to pressure his full and complete testimony.

Trump has used the phrase “You’re fired” many times, time to repeat the message. Those who use our government for their own pleasure/benefits should not be allowed to do so.
