>>The NFL stopped being fun a long time ago. It just took the anthem protests to break me of the habit. Frankly, it is a relief.
I now have Sunday free to hunt (or do whatever my Wife tells me to do) and do not miss watching football one little bit.
We had a large group over for Christmas - someone put the game on one of the TVs - I couldnt even pretend to care.
Watching, much less getting excited about, an NFL game is a waste of time. Put down the remote and walk away from the TV. You will be much better off.<<
A lot of people are rediscovering Sundays. In a strange way we should thank the NFL. I have a lot of honey-do’s I have actually DONE in the Sundays back to the start of the season :)
Is it my imagination or are TV broadcasts “juicing” the crowd sounds to make it sound like a full house. Kind of like sitcom laugh tracks.
Thanks for the ping!

Those pictures of empty seats show real “people power” in action.
The boycott is just getting started—the NFL is going to pay for their social justice warriors—over and over and over again....until they fire every last one of them starting with Goodell.
How special .. another thread for the Collaborators !
I hope the skit gave no offense.
Gamblers are livid that Philly didn’t kick the extra point for their last play TD and thus cover the spread. I figured point spreads are the whole reason they have the silly rule that you must go ahead the with try on plays where time has expired. No one ever remembers and people always stream on to the field.
Bowl picks for today
West VA over Utah in the Heart of Dallas Bowl
Northern IL over Duke in the Quick Lane Bowl.
Kansas State over UCLA in the Cactus Bowl.
No offense taken Impy. Just like the Browns, no offense. (haha, so funny)
I prefer to view it as the magnet thread for broomsticks-up-their-nether-region virtue signalers!
But your mileage may vary.
My mileage is fine, thanks.
Just keep on viewin’ it that way if it makes ya feel better.
How come Philly didn't have to do that last night?
Money given to Soros Open Society and equivalent endeavors by Microsoft: >$1 Billion dollars.
Money given to Soros Open Society and equivalent endeavors by the NFL (to date): $0 dollars.
Just trying to be consistent and all.
Just saying. I don’t usually attack other conservatives for their purchasing or entertainment choices by calling them “collaborators”, especially when they themselves often do far more damage.
Probably best to be conservative and let others make their choices without throwing stones?
That maggot Soros doesn’t need to pump money into the nfl.
With the collaboration of whatever viewers and fans are left, the enemedia and their ghetto thug darlings are showing their seditious colors all on their own.
Have a happy New Year, FRiend .. I’m done with this.
OK, FRiend.
And....about the Ice Bowl
Frankly, I would LOVE to see a new league started by some real CONSERVATIVE people. The (F)NFL deserves to die on the vine. I don’t give a rip about all of those Liberals who own the majority of (F)NFL teams and their futures. I want to see them watch their teams go belly up while their money goes down the tubes.
They did have to do it. But they took a knee (which goes down as a failed 2 pt conversion) rather than trying a kick.
Impy’s wish was attained ... chargers got their shot!
Go bills
Go falcs
