USC - 2 losses, soft schedule and soft conference. They play in PAC 12 that went 1-8 in bowl games (worst conference record in bowls ever).
O ST -2 losses including loss to Iowa (8-5) where they got the crap kicked out of them.
AL only lost to Auburn, themselves a very tough team.
Hard to bet against Clemson for the championship.
Sec is weaker than Pac12 though. No way sec should have 2 teams in final 4. Hell maybe not even 1 team. How can any solid team lose in the SEC it’s so weak?
Alabama had no more claim to the playoff than Wisconsin whose only lose was by six to OSU. ALA and WIS strength of schedule were nearly identical. ALA was selected because of past history, nothing else.
