All’s it takes is a little reasoning power. Look at how ESPN used to love on the Big10. Then the Big10 started their own network. ESPN started ragging on the Big10. They have huge influence over the committee. In fact, I believe they were about the only sports source before the selection that was backing two SEC teams to make the final 4. And guess what happens...two SEC teams make the final 4. Alabama has no place in the final 4. Also look at the polls the week after all the upsets. They jockeyed the positions so that SEC would be set to make a claim for two teams. Also look at what happens when Mississippi State upsets a higher ranked SEC team (like last year). They move up about 10 spots. The polls always have to have two or three SEC teams in the top no matter what happens. They will move a #16 team to #4 in one week to keep it that way. Then when that top 5 team loses in SEC play—hey an SEC team beat a top 5 team.
