I don’t agree with Jodie’s lifestyle, but I deeply respect her. She is an artist with integrity.

I pray for her; and I happen to agree with her on this issue of film making.

This Marvel/Warner Bros. cranking out of superhero crap is really really getting old.

I enjoy super hero films to a point, but this is the bulk of what we have now. Disney making Star Wars into a product, Marvel becoming a giant soap opera of “heros”, etc. and Warner Bros. continually attempting to usurp the contest with Batman v Superman is just GARBAGE.

Give it a rest. Try telling a STORY.

Oh, by the way, i do not agree with her on the fracking comparison—just on the idea that these super hero flicks are stupid.

What you are overlooking is that they do. At least in the Marvel Universe they do.

It is weird but they are the few movies that actually have a complex plot line and character development.

They may not be to your taste but they are telling a story.

I have to agree. She's a pretty good actress and director. And she's right about all the superhero crap.

These movies about grown men running around in their pajamas and capes reek of faggotry.

“She is an artist with integrity.”

ROFL! The words ‘artist’ and ‘integrity’, especially of Jodie Foster or any actor, don’t belong in the same sentence together.

I’d rather have superhero movies than lecture-y movies starring Matt Damon, Leonardo de Caprio, etc.

They can’t...writers no longer have any imagination, have lousy vocabularies, and so they turn to prequels, sequels, remakes, ghetto language, car crashes, outright pornography, CGI, badly rewritten “history”; all in all just utter garbage.

I concur overall. However, the last time I went to a theater it was basically a free for all with screaming, cell phones and volume that would blow your ears off. I honestly don’t think its conducive to getting into a complex storyline.

I don’t believe the millennial population especially is really into quiet and deep storylines. They don’t have the attention span. Speaking in general terms of course.

The company’s decision to make these movies isn’t based on what we, the American Public are looking for.

It is based on what the typical sub-80 IQ Chinaman is looking for in the theater.

Since China and the CCP have taken over hollywood by dangling their income-doubling yuan in front of the movie execs it hasn’t been about what we want.
