Deborah Onsurez, 56, was found Thursday morning in Modesto, California.

Authorities believe multiple stray dogs attacked her in the driveway of her home.

Onsurez's injuries were severe and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

...

Stray dogs everywhere, that's Stanislaus County for you ...

They're a big problem in area known as South Modesto.

...

dog attacks aren't uncommon. In November, a pit bull attacked at least three people in Elk Grove, a suburb of Sacramento that's about 60 miles from Modesto.

And in 2014, two separate pit bull attacks in Stanislaus County - one left a man dead.

When dogs run in packs they are dangerous regardless of breed.

In most of California, the California legislature has made it illegal to carry any firearm outside of the home.

Plus hepatitis running rampant because of bums using the street as a toilet and trains littered with used hypodermic needles.?

CA law makes it much easier for pits to rip your arms off and eat you. The same state who all but outlawed the 2nd Amendment for legitimate citizens, but panders to illegal alien with prizes, rights and gifts.

I could show videos of some horrific pit attack videos, but I won’t. I love dogs, but I do not trust pits unless they’re fully secured.

Just another reason to CCW. Not a common reason, but one well placed shot kills a dog and the others probably get the hint. If not, shot #2 should do the trick. Then just keep firing at will.

Human beings aren’t self equipped with weapons like fangs and claws.

If this woman applied for a CCW and was denied, then the state of CA is guilty in her death. I doubt she did, but just saying.

A few years ago we had a big pack of dogs killing sheep and calves where we lived. Nearby was a very small city and all the dogs involved were town dogs that their owners had let out for the night.

Before it was done I killed 15 dogs in my livestock pastures and in my front and back yards. Every dog I shot was a “town dog”.

Yes, it was all very legal and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If you have dogs take care of them and control them. When they are chasing my livestock I will kill ever one of them I can. There are no second chances with me.

I thought Alaska was the place I needed to carry a gun to protect myself and family from dangerous predators of the four legged persuasion.

Now it looks like suburban California is added to the list.

“...trains littered with used hypodermic needles.?”

What trains are you talking about? The trains in SoCal are clean, very nice. Are you talking about SF area? Curious where this is happening. Thanks.

You have a right to protect your property from threats, whether they have two legs or four legs.

“Third World problems in a growing Third World state.”

The richest state in the union, both per capita and net.

How does that fit with your narrative?

Actually, more likely to pit bulls of drug dealers.

lots of illegal wildcat pot farms set up by Mexican cartels on national forest and state land - or even on private property.

They use aggressive packs of pit bull to protect and guard their illegals pot plantations from poachers.

Sometimes, ordinary residents become collateral damage.

Ntohging to see here - just some dogs looking for sanctuary... They just want a better life for themselves. It’s not their fault they were brought here without a voice...

Oh... wait... I thought this was yet another of the never-ending stories of illegals who are destroying the country.
