“Yes, it was all very legal and I would do it again in a heartbeat.”
Growing up in Minnesota, people up north would “hunt” the dog packs. Open season on them. And as you said - I think most of them are pets - and all breeds.
Working on a job up in Alaska the bear-watcher was more concerned about the wild dogs (NOT pets!) on the island than the grizzly bears. He killed two dogs that were curious. The bears would just go around the other side of the hill.
Good point. Pits don’t need a pack to attack.
That is what Victor Davis Hanson writes about all the time. He has his home on the old family farm in Selma, CA where he has seen generations of decay, the introduction of crime, and hordes of illegals. He teaches at Stanford next door to Palo Alto, an area with the highest standard of living in the world. He laments the loss of a California with a solid middle class.
As long as the 3rd world doesn’t come to San Francisco, Marin County, Malibu and Santa Barbara, California’s elites don’t care.
Or Brentwood, Balboa Island, Bel Air etc...
If they had a pit bull as their leader I can easily see it.
Like the saying, if the shoe fits wear it.
Freeperss like it simple
Facts are simply a nuisance

Great state just has some issues that really changed it post 1980
Wisconsin has its share of freaks in Madison and Milwaukee
Just saying
Kali bashing is mean
Like Hitler on tequila
Lol
That county is loaded with hispanics, and dogs running loose everywhere are commonplace.
Even just two dogs can be terrifying. I was visiting a friend a few years ago, and when he took a phone call I went outside to the driveway for a smoke. A neighbor’s dogs came over, began circling me, bared teeth. I was terrified, and moreso thinking they could so easily detect my fear.
If they chose to attack, there was no way my friend could have heard me, I didn’t know where the owner was, calling 911 would have done little for my survival, as my friend’s home is a few miles out of town. Just a really frightening situation.
Fortunately, the owner did show up and was able to collect her dogs and bring them home, This happened in suburban Westchester County, NY, where there are assuredly requirements on owners to keep their dogs on leashes, or fenced in. I’ve since quit smoking!
Same here, except Michigan.
Mariner I live in CA. and this state has gone to HELL in a hand basket, this WELFARE state is NOT sustainable we are OVERRUN with illegals and you damned near MUST speak Spanish to live here!! Say what you will BUT I live here also and you are looking at this state through rose colored glasses!!!
Glad to hear it.
Pits——Lone Wolf hunters.
I run into many Kalifornians here in Lake Havasu AZ who truly think they are conservatives. After talking with them for a bit, it becomes very apparent that measured by Arizona standards ... they are flaming liberals. The brainwashing runs deep in the peoples republic. I am a born and raised Kalifornian who escaped to America (Arizona) years ago. It took a couple of years for me to realize that I wasn’t as conservative as I thought when I moved here. I have since “acclimated”
As long as the 3rd world doesnt come to San Francisco,
Or is that some other San Francisco?
I got the hell out of California almost 40 years ago. Smartest thing I ever did.
