No sour grapes here, the Dogs handed us our a$$ in the 3rd Quarter. We’re used to defensive brain farts.
However, I’m not happy at all about the all SEC final. It’s basically a SEC championship part deux.
I figured this would happen and I think it’s going to really hurt college football because it’s all based on opinions now and not conference championships. The opinions may be right but that doesn’t matter.
I for one, I have very little interest in watching next week, especially a night game between two clone teams that will be overhyped.
I thought the playoff game would be between Oklahoma and Clemson. Georgia was better than I thought and Alabama’s defense beat Clemson.

Do not give props to Georgia’s offense.
As good as Oklahoma’s offense has been all year, their defense has been just as awful. Especially their DB’s.
I’ve noticed this trend for the past 15 years or so. Part of it is the offensive schemes, but Too many teams and coaches put all their great athletes on offense, and their defense is an afterthought. It starts in the high school ranks. When you give up 30 points, and you consider it a “good” defensive game, something just isn’t right.
