Husband used to drink moderately, so I enthusiastically bought him fine wine, like a case of Petrus. In my best days I could actually do vertical sniffings - tell the same wine apart by years. I’m used as an alcohol detector in bars. If I sniff the glass and can’t smell alcohol, they send the drink back. Then he lost interest in wine and now the cellar, I fear, is turned to vinegar except for the best ones with the most tannin which I hope SOMEDAY he’ll investigate and try. Confession: I couldn’t resist dipping a finger in the ‘61 Lafite Rothschild and tasting it. It was everything they said it was. No matter what I tried - water, crackers, etc. - I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth!

I went from homebrewing (beer) to Blending(beer)
HomeBrewers Have more dos and don’ts than other cults.
Especially boiling non-grain stuff (that’s already been boiled to get what it is!
;)!
***

Mostly Blend IPA now, and/or DIPA when I can find HopSlam or Bro Benjamin.

Best in/for IPA is (for me) a dash of SoComfort, Honey, maybe a slight dash of vanilla creamer!

Beats the usual c**p*** found in most watering holes!
Just Plain Dick @ Planet WTF!
