It’s always important to remember Assange is an anarchist. There has been a “convergence of interests” vs-a-vs Assange & Trump/”Deplorables” at some point that will stop. Whether Assange can get a pardon out of that “for services rendered (or something like that!)” remains to be seen. Whether he should because his good deeds done out weigh his bad (But remember he’s not gong to stop!) or shouldn’t is worth a discussion.
Sure, I like it when juicy stuff like the DNC emails get out there, but I still don't like hackers and leakers no matter how justified they may think they are. There's a lot of potential danger in that.
