We had this thread when this first happened.
The attorney in question was subject of controversy for getting off with a slap on the wrist for a dui last year. His date had apparently been out drinking with him and became excessively inebriated before he tried to dump her off on Uber. She flipped and allegedly did something to the painting in addition to other property damage. If she is sentenced to life in prison for that outside of the mitigating circumstances, I’d say they have a corruption problem in that locale. The attorney might be the “beneficiary” of this corruption, but it’s not doing him any good because he is clearly not getting the message that his behavior is causing his problems.
Oh, and this all happened on Christmas Eve!
