The Democrats are joyous all the Republicans are retiring. My question is are those Republicans part of the elite establishment group or is it age or what?

Better happen soon or Trump may fail.

Birth pangs from the realignment we are going through. We are going to win some new areas, and lose some old ones as both sides dig in. My guess is small Republican gains in the Senate, small losses in the House. It is hard when Trump is doing all the heavy lifting and table setting.

He’s draining his own admin pretty well but the jury’s out on the Deep State players (pun intended).

I am not a believer that draining a swamp works. The problem is not the swamp; the problem is the alligators in the swamp. I am a firm believer in killing alligators.

Over the past several years, it seems to be more like bailing water in a sinking boat that has a hole in the hull. Every time a swamp rat is ousted, a “good guy” is turned into a new swamp rat.
What the hell happened to Jeff Sessions? Remember when we liked Paul Ryan? Marco Rubio? The list goes on. It’s like a rabid contagion in Washington DC.

There is no sewer pumper big enough on the globe that can drain this swamp. Trump is at least doing a little of the draining every week, but I fear all of this will be lost once Piglosi is the speaker again, what with all the GOP incumbents retiring.

Swamp will be drained when CINC can attend a rally riding in a convertible.

The groundwater, of which The Swamp is visible, is the Council on Foreign Relations, Goldman-Sachs, and the big DC law firms. That groundwater is still well represented in the Trump Administration.

Nothing fuels the swamp like government surveillance. And the Democrats, Republicans, and Trump are all apparently prepared to grow that swamp.

It’s not like the Swamp will ever be completely drained.
But that doesn’t mean you give up.
Otherwise, it’s amazing how we thought we may never get a fighter in the WH ever again..and now we have one and to many are sounding like we are doomed?
Blah!

Maybe most of 'em are 'Weinsteins' who know the FBI spies on American citizens, looking in bedroom keyholes to keep their beloved democrats in power.

Trump is draining The Swamp but it will take some time to empty it completely.
There are decades of slime from the swamp critters plugging the drains.

Non-elected swamp: Draining, steady stream. Elected swamp: needs flo-max; stream not strong enough yet. BTW, flo-max coming thanks to DNC/FBI Russian collusion backfire. Blue wave is going out with the tide! Dems lose seats in 18.

FBI still being lead and run by zealots. CIA still continuing to support Turkish operations in Syria. NSA still violating our rights. Unelected civil servants still making better pay than Governors. So no, swamp is barely draining.
