Then it makes sense for you-or anyone else of like mind-to live in a place with zoning rules that meet your comfort level, an HOA, etc, because you won’t be pleased in a place where non-conformity is the status quo-after all, we are all different.

Just don’t move to a neighborhood/area where any resident decides what they will display and it is no one’s business. I live in a rural area with rednecks/hippies, offgriders and others gone galt-our roads are practically a tourist attraction with all the unique, trashy/tacky lawn ornaments-some have so many you can’t even see the front of the house/cabin. I love living in a trashy cool place where I do as I like-but that is just my choice...

Next time I take photos of some of the more creatively ornamented yards, I’ll try to post them-no cars in trees here, though...

The best place is to have acreage where you neighbors do not even see you. Of have walls around the property so they never see inside if they do not want too.

I encourage all the easily offended to live with an HOA.
