If this turns out to be a legitimate complaint it would be good if Tesla moves swiftly and settles this complaint out of the court. It would be even better if Tesla could reach out to other owners that may be affected by "too much promised" marketing and settle with them. Otherwise, the trust will be tarnished and that will very negatively affect Tesla. if you would like to share your opinions you are most welcome to write them in the comments section below for discussion. Do you think this case will be widened?

Poorly written headline as it gives the impression that Tesla is the one demanding compensation.

I think considering Musk’s history, I’m pretty sure he’ll look for a way to get American taxpayers to pony up for his lies.

350 kw instead of the [originally] advertised 533 kw.
Perhaps those who purchased prior to the figures being “corrected” should be refunded 33% of the purchase price they paid.

Musk is a hero to the greenies. Electric vehicles are irrationally revered by the left. This story will be muffled, strangled, and pushed out of sight. Musk and Tesla will receive the most gentle slap on the hand.

Between Tesla’s inability to meet their production goals, the manipulations of Solar City and the now public multi-billion dollar investments of both GM & Ford, Musk’s Tesla may end up being another Tucker.

Battery power will always disappoint. Like laptop batteries, batteries are OK when new, but after a year or two, won't hold a charge. And the cost of replacement is many thousands of dollars.
Electric hoopty cars are a disaster that is being shoved down our collective throats by the Deep State. I'm appalled at the the "top down" approach of the automakers, literally telling the buyer what they are allowed to have. Gone are the days of the free market deciding what will be built and sold.

Spent a few weeks in Norway at Christmastime.
Oslo is crawling with Teslas. (and not just because Oslo traffic is crawling-slow).
A big reason for that is the Norwegian tax system that heavily punishes gasoline/diesel cars and favors electric cars. And in Oslo, specifically, you have to pay 49 kroner ($6.22) each time you drive into the city limits. For electric cars you pay nothing.

If you are going to reduce the output by 30%+ (350 ÷ 550) then the price of the vehicle should be reduced as much, if not more.

Battery physics show that temperature below freezing seriously impacts the battery power. At -20 you are at 40% power. They have battery heaters but that takes battery power to.
Why would these bozo’s from a cold climate want one of these.
Let’s ask the Apple Fanbois.
