That's not a Ford Ranger. It's a wannabe Honda Ridgeline. It's for urban yuppies to have "adventures" in.
THIS is a Ford Ranger:
I had one really close to that.
That is sooooo last century...............
That was my first thought.
I'm on my 2nd Ranger - a 2003, looks a lot like yours (although not as clean).
Hey that looks like my 2003 Ford Ranger less the extended cab.
Looks like those are why it was never a sales leader and ultimately ABANDONED.
Sorry. The Ranger needed an update and it needed THIS update.
I agree. Drop the curves. Give me a bench seat. Don’t want an interior that looks like a car. Make it SMALL - something noticeably smaller than my 2008 F-150. I’m probably a freak because I want a manual transmission with a granny gear, not a 10-speed automatic. And if they want $30K+, hell will freeze over first!
I realize government-imposed rules prevent consumers like me from having any choice. Get the government out of the car design business and Make Trucks Great Again!
BTW - still haven’t forgiven my son for totaling our 1998 S-10 pickup. It had 150K miles on it and was running like a champ when a drunk “undocumented worker” hit him sideways. Son was fine, but lost a good little truck. Damn California!
