Trump should try to pay the military as has been done in the past, during all those other shutdowns the Democrats caused and managed to blame on Republicans: force the Democrats be on record as wanting to choose illegal aliens over our soldiers should they balk.
Then not only get rid of DACA but get rid of it with gusto.
Someone on one of the threads here in the last week or so said the Executive Order that DJT signed declaring Human trafficking a threat to “National Security” would prevent the Military from being included in the shutdown.
Keep the checks to SSI recipients rolling and the military paid. Don’t fund anything else. DJT can probably pay the WH staff out of his own pocket longer than the congresscritters can fund their folks. The rest of it won’t be missed. I think that would be a valuable lesson for the nation.
