I start Firefox by default in safe mode, which supposedly bypasses all addons and extensions.
Here is my startup command for Firefox:
“C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe” -safe-mode

I’m still using Firefox 56 since Firefox jettisoned all of its addons with the 57 update. Disabling those would make my browsing much harder, espectially when HTML language is used especially on FR.
