Men will face fines of up to £80 if they comment on a woman's body or appearance in public.
The new proposals put forward to the French government are aimed at combatting the levels of harassment rife on the streets of the country's cities.
An £80 fine will be issued to anyone who behaves in a manner which 'infringes the freedom of movement of women in public spaces and undermines self-esteem and the right to security'.

It’s almost certainly because of the muslim “refugees” behavior, and almost certainly no refugees will be prosecuted.
Only French citizens will be prosecuted.
Others will be able to insult women in public at will.

Soon they will fine people for not commenting on their appearance. Remember, it uses to be racist to call attention to race but now it’s racist to ignore race. I see the same happening with this idiotic notion. Imagine the outcome of someone spending thousands on clothes, plastic surgery, countless hours at the gym and makeup only to have no one comment on your efforts.

The temptation would be to just see how much they can pile on if you let loose with a couple hundred such outbursts before you can restrained, kind of like Sylvester Stallone cussing in Demolition Man.

Women throughout history have been remarked upon by men. The very idea that Nature can be altered by coercion is absurd. As women age, they notice that the “remarks” become extinct. Fancy that. All without the aid of the Police State.
That France is enacting this law is the biggest shock of all. Paris is the home of sexual license on every level. However, once they allowed barbarians to run the streets, their only strategy is retreat from everything that made the civilized world want to spend time in their beautiful city.
Make love, not war, could be said of Frenchmen. But not of the invading hordes.
