Congress Quietly Pushing Bill to Require National Biometric ID for ‘ALL Americans’

Earlier this month, Rep. Bob Goodlatte [R-VA-6] introduced H.R.4760 – Securing America’s Future Act of 2018, a sweeping bill that entails everything from Education and the Workforce to Homeland Security to the military.

Also, tucked away in this 400-page behemoth of a bill are the details of a new biometric National ID card that could soon be required for everyone.

Not surprisingly, there is almost no media coverage on this legislation.

In other words, the only thing about biometric testing in the entire bill is that if someone wants to gain entry to the United States by claiming that they are a child of a legal immigrant, they have to provide the DNA proof. Nothing in any way requires the collection of any biometric data from any U.S. citizen.

What would stop them would be if it was tied to federal elections. Show your biometric ID to vote. Only citizens get them.

The government purposely created all of those problems which it would now solve by marking us.

That is the MO of the Beast.

Create a problem, empower itself to solve that problem, create a new problem.

Ever more heads.

It is in several news sources, and was in UK news papers about going forward with it. It is part of the Agenda 2030. Pope was stressing the need for everyone in the world to have a unique ID.

I don’t give a flip about Ron Paul - he just happened to be in the article, but I read several other sources that said the same thing. Pubbies in the past have opposed such crap.

I see no need for that. Driver’s license is good enough. JMHO.

"Capture enough info to ensure 100% positive ID, weed out and deport all illegal aliens."

That is how the plan works. Government imports MILLIONS of criminals so that regular citizens like you will demand less Freedom in order to eliminate the very same illegals.

Even FReepers are falling for this stuff. FReepers will stand in line to throw away the last vestiges of freedom.

You are entitled to your opinion. I don’t trust the SOBs. Especially when I read Agenda 2030.

That sounds about right. I do remember them collecting biometric data on illegals. Believe that started a few years ago.

India has been capturing biometric data on all of its citizens to administer its welfare system. From about 2010(?). So in this case, India, that is, they ARE going after the entire population though this may be immigrants legal and illegal in the USA right now.

Currently it is, at worst, carrying a copy, on a card or in some database, of the marks God already bestowed on us.

Getting the marks of the beast is a matter of willfully perverting our God given purpose in thought and deed. We sin already; the object of that sin will become explicit.

My issue is with Biometric ID. I don’t want any DACA legalized. But concern over DACA pales compared to concern over DACA.

I noticed last year that in Germany...the government had ordered the national authority over roads to formulate operating procedures/laws to be changed, etc....and basically gave two years to deliver the method where a driverless car could operate. No one says it’ll happen in the next two or three years...but the fact that they envision it coming is a pretty big sign.

I think by 2020, you will have optional packages which you can order in some high-cost cars where the driver just sits there and the car operates itself. We probably will all laugh over the introduction but it’s merely a sign of acceptance.

NO WAY am I going to have any thing to do with those type of cars. Just one more way to track people and control them.

There’s enough laws and regulations on the books now that everyone is a criminal, even a felon, waiting to be caught. And that’s only going to get worse.
Won’t be long and you can be convicted of a felony and lose your gun rights for failing to clean out an animal stall in the exact manner the government mandates... or for refusing to bake a cake for a polygamist...or for a sexual harassment accusation over something you did 40 years ago....or for accidentally plowing under an endangered vole.

I’m sure people will try, like AT&T tried to mass market a picturephone.

The technology to make it possible was broadband internet. Now we have Skype etc.

Broadband internet everywhere a car needs to go, plus accurate road tracking rain or shine, will be a must. Even GPS is far too coarse.

And current sensor failures are sometimes ludicrous. The side of a light colored truck registers as sky.

I agree...it’s the only common sense way of solving our problems with illegal aliens. WTF does anybody fear this. You go into the military and your identity is associated with biometric identification.

If people want it as convenience let them knock themselves out. But as soon as somebody hand-waves that shibboleth “Common-Sense” my irony meter goes on high alert.
