Just a month after her rocky White House exit, former Trump aide Omarosa Manigault Newman will be joining the cast of CBS’ debut season of “Celebrity Big Brother,” the network announced Sunday. Omarosa resigned from the Trump administration in December. Now it looks like she's going from the White House to the “Big Brother” house.

She's baaaaaack. The timing on this new gig is interesting. Planned or not? Wonder what she'll leak about Trump.

Along with a houseful of "celebs" no one has ever heard of or cares about. http://www.cbs.com/shows/celebrity-big-brother/

This is going to be good. I was going to watch anyway so this news just makes it that much more exciting. Fireworks are going to fly.

That seems like a big comedown, if you ask me.
Omarosa is an engaging public speaker, and a compelling personality, but I’m still not sure there is a big market to hear her speak as who she is. I can see that she’s a difficult person who takes pride in being difficult and requiring greater care than the average person.
Diva’s gotta Diva.

I was actually impressed with how she behaved in the Trump campaign. She was firm and polite when countered (as on The View), vs. the Hellion persona she once seemed to flaunt. Maybe she just goes with whatever pays the bills at the time.

For this ‘gig’, she’s being hired for her flamboyant, stir-up-trouble propensity (I was watching The Apprentice when she was on way back when & she’s a ‘master’ at it) and I’m sure she’ll deliver.

Her behavior while on the campaign surprised me - I figured maybe she’d turned a corner with who she was marrying & her ‘ministry’, but after she was ‘fired’ from the WH job, I’m thinking a leopard doesn’t really change its spots. Then again, she may take on a “preacher” persona ... guaranteed to drive the other celebs crazy.

From Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omarosa_Manigault :

In August 2009, Manigault enrolled at the United Theological Seminary in Ohio to pursue a Doctor of Ministry degree.[52] She received a preacher’s license in February 2011 from her church (Weller Street Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, California) and was formally ordained on February 27, 2012.[53] In February 2012, she was working on finishing her degree at Payne Theological Seminary.[53] Manigault said on Oprah: Where Are They Now? that she is an ordained Baptist minister.

Manigault married John Allen Newman on April 8, 2017, at Trump’s Washington, DC, hotel, in the Presidential Ballroom of the Old Post Office Pavilion.[60] Newman is the Senior Pastor of The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary, a church in Jacksonville, Florida.

Don’t even know who 8 or 9 out of the 12 celebs are.

But, then, I don’t watch TMZ or E!

Another reason to NOT watch that insipid show.

In Democrat administrations, there are fixers who deal with these people to keep them on the reservation. Get them a good gig somewhere, let them know to keep their mouth shut and they will do well. Republicans should play that way.

I tried watching Big Brother once and found it to be incredibly stupid. Also, I can't stand Julie Chen.

The famous faces taking part in Celebrity Big Brother are:

Omarosa Manigault
The three-time Apprentice contestant and Trump campaigner departed the White House for the Big Brother house. No word on if that is trading up or trading down.

Mark McGrath
The Sugar Ray singer also did a stint on Celebrity Apprentice. He’s actually been on many a reality television program, including Celebrity Wife Swap, a guest judge on American Idol, and host of not one but TWO Pussycat Dolls shows.

Shannon Elizabeth
The American Pie star may not like living on slop if she becomes a “Have Not.” She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, because of course she did.

Metta World Peace
The former Ron Artest won NBA Defensive Player of the Year honors as well as an NBA title. He’s also best known for the “Malice at the Palace” brawl between fans and players in Detroit while a member of the Indiana Pacers. Not that there’s ever any fighting on Big Brother. Oh, yeah, he also did his time on Dancing with the Stars.

Brandi Glanville
It wouldn’t be a celebrity reality show without a Real Housewife. This time, it’s Brandi from Beverly Hills, who also paid her dues on Celebrity Apprentice. (Who didn’t?)

James Maslow
The Big Time Rush star also got fourth place on season 18 of Dancing with the Stars.

Keshia Knight Pulliam
Rudy Huxtable is in the house! The Big Brother house, to be exact. She also appeared on, yes, Celebrity Apprentice.

Marissa Jaret Winokur
The Hairspray Broadway star was on the same season of Dancing with the Stars as her new housemate Shannon Elizabeth. Instant alliance?

Ariadna Gutierrez
She was Miss Universe in 2015… for about two minutes. Then it was revealed that host Steve Harvey had read the wrong name. Whoops!

Chuck Liddell
The former mixed martial artist will have to use his smarts and social skills, not his fists to win this competition. And if you were wondering which show he previously appeared on: Celebrity Apprentice or Dancing with the Stars, it was the latter.

Ross Mathews
The former Tonight Show intern is a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. But now he will be judged by his fellow housemates… and America.
