How to put this as delicately as I can. FDR was president when I was born. For all those years up until Obama and his vow to transform America democrats and republicans at the street level pretty much got along just fine. After the advent of Obama’s “transformation” and everything he stood for that all changed. I don’t care what saving graces a person may have if they support/enable the profoundly evil democrat party they are out of my life. Period. As far as scum on our side goes, they do exist. But at least we purge/shun them whereas democrats embrace them.

I know exactly how you feel on that. And I agree. I’m the same way.

But I can’t hold these ladies to that. I just can’t.

I have to compartmentalize that aspect of them, but because of circumstances between us, I love them despite significant disagreement on politics. I see all of their facebook posts, and I must effort to restrain myself from commenting to them, because I could thrash them so thoroughly. But all that would result in that is losing two people who helped to bring pure, shining happiness into my life followed by the most exquisite pain I have ever felt in my life, which I am still feeling right now, because death happened yesterday.

Thing is I believe Jesus sends people and animals into one’s as He sees fit. There are no coincidences. I was meant to know them for a specific purpose, and that purpose may not yet be finished.

I have never discussed politics with them, I have no opinion on politics as far as they are concerned. I am one of the unengaged.
