When I was still regularly communicating with Steve Bannon, we discussed this and he thought a lot of it was resentment vs. Breitbart’s success (which has, in terms of “looks,” buried him I hear). He also thought Breitbart-—who founded DR with Drudge-—setting up his own site was a betrayal.
Finally, some of the BB insiders think that Drudge is just trying to strategically place himself differently than BB because he is losing.
I thought Andrew came along after Matt started DR.
If it was a betrayal, then why was Drudge linking to Brietbart stories before and after his death?
