Like Trey Gowdy?
I’m sure that is part of Trump’s deal making.
Trey said years ago when urged to run for SC senator against Grahamnesty that he didn’t intend to be a career politician.
I confess, that I haven’t made up my mind about Gowdy. He was part of the Tea Party crowd. He doesn’t appear to have enriched himself like most do.
I do think he was very frustrated after all the hearings, that nothing further became of the findings. If I understand it correctly, Congress makes referrals to the DOJ and of course that would have gone no where.
It might be that DOJ has a job for him, but we shall have to wait and see.
