Well said, skin color is largely a function of environment. So people today that have fair skin, like Scandinavians, are fair because their ancestors have been living in lands that look like the North in Game of Thrones for 10,000 years.
Why are people going crazy over this. Human beings and chimpanzees and certain apes share 96-98% of the same DNA. All humans share about 99% of the same DNA (some studies have said as high as 99.9%).

In addition, the basic theological truths of the OT that God created Adam and Eve and all humans come from common ancestors is consistent with what Science tells us.
