Synopsis:
This is certainly one of THE most important stories I've ever done. Within the last hour we received what appears to be an official British TOP SECRET signals intelligence document dated Nov. 17, 2016, showing that President Obama and his National Security Advisor, Susan Rice were the ones who first requested electronic spying on the candidate Donald Trump, just 7 days after Trump won the Republican nomination in late August, 2016.
The secret document, which has no redactions, was sent by Robert Hannigan, the Director of GCHQ, to Boris Johnson, the British Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs.
It is a request for a 90-day renewal of an electronic spying program which had been running since Sept. 15, 2016.
Even the exact location of the Trump Transition team was spelled out - Trump Tower, 725 5th Ave., New York, NY, the 5th and the 26th floors.
The spying project was called FULSOME. It was originally requested by Obama and Rice on Aug. 28, 2016:
"On 28 August 2016, GCHQ/CSO filed for permission to execute Project FULSOME at the request of the US President, seeking intelligence gathering into the Trump Organization and Donald J. Trump for President, Inc."
It was designed to run for 90 days, however surprise - despite bugging two floors of Trump Tower for the last 55 days of the Presidential campaign, and delivering all that intelligence up to Obama and Rice - and you can bet it went straight to the Clinton campaign as well, Trump won by a direct miracle of God.

There have been numerous posts on FR pointing out that President Truman after he ended the OSS programs, created the CIA, and the NSA with very specific limitations on where and who, those agencies could monitor.
We were aligned with the United Kingdom electronic intel monitoring divisions of England, Canada, Australia and New Zealand via the 5 Eyes program. The constitutions of these 5 Eye countries prevented each country from using their powerful surveillance programs on their people. 5 Eyes, enabled them to monitor/surveillance on other 5 Eyes people in other countries on requests from high level people in the other 5 Eyes countries.
This was done for decades without serious violations via the code name, Echelon and modern replacement programs. Probably, no great harm was done until last year by Obama, Rice, Brennan, Clapper and probably Comey. They apparently requested that England’s DCHQ monitor candidate Trump and even President Elect Trump.
The monitoring and surveillance of Trump, Trump Tower and his people continued after Trump won the election by the Brit version of NSA, DCHQ up to when Donald Trump became President Trump.
Trump was made aware of this vast and illegal surveillance by DCHQ, when Admiral Rogers visited President Elect Trump after the election to warn him of the surveillance by DCHQ.
After Admiral Roger’s visit, President Elect Trump moved his center of operation from Trump Towers to another Trump property to avoid the 24/7 monitoring of him and his people.
A few days after Mr Trump became president Trump, the director of DCHQ resigned to spend time with his family.
One can only imagine the private messages sent from our New President Trump to Madame May, the Brit Prime Minister. That info helps to explain why PM May and our President do not get along very well.

I guess I am inclined to believe the Brits until some credible corroborative evidence surfaces. Not, surely, impossible, but the consequence of such a blunder is almost beyond imagination.

He could still fire a pile of them and replace them then just say he didn't get around to it as fast as Clinton when anyone says anything. He doesn't actually care what they say anyway so at this point I put his not cleaning house down to very bad advice.
