I am thrilled to have come across this on YouTube because, like the BBC series, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" it resonates over the years.

Churchill and other politicians meddled in other countries affairs which years later resulted in one war after another. It is a sport to them.

They were trying to hold on to the Empire.

"Churchill and other politicians meddled in other countries affairs which years later resulted in one war after another. It is a sport to them."
There is no doubt that Churchill was a defender of the British Empire. When he became Prime Minister (can't remember if it was the first or second time) he said something to the effect that he did not become the Prime Minister in order to oversee the dismantling of the Empire. However, as a politician I can't remember any meddling of country's affairs as you say. Unless you want to count that he was against the breaking off of Ireland from the Empire in the 10's but they were part of Empire and not an actual country.
As a politician, what country did Churchill meddle with that lead to war?

"All of them."
Wow, Churchill really was a bastard! He meddled in every country in the world that led to endless wars. Thanks for the info...

Thanks so much for the ping. I saw this video of the drama come up the other night when I was searching on Churchill stuff. I was look for documentaries and lectures to watch so I passed this one by.
I found this documentary of the same name as the drama which I did watch. It’s quite good even though it’s critical of him. It made me love him all the more.

The Gathering Storm, with Albert Finney, is the best of the Churchill movies.

"That is because that you were taken in by that verdammte Allied propaganda! Such filthy lies! They told lies! But nobody ever said a bad word about Winston Churchill, did they? No! 'Win with Winnie!' Churchill! With his cigars. With his brandy. And his rotten painting, rotten! Hitler - there was a painter! He could paint an entire apartment in one afternoon! Two Coats! Churchill. He couldn't even say 'Nazi'. He would say 'Noooo-zeeehz, Nooooooooooooo-zeeehz!' It wasn't Noses! It was Nazis! Churchill!...Let me tell you this! And you're hearing this straight from the horse. Hitler was better looking than Churchill. He was a better dresser than Churchill. He had more hair! He told funnier jokes! And he could dance the pants off of Churchill!...Churchill!"
