What if African civilizations were so advanced as to avoid all manner of problems like slavery, cannibalism, and staying neolithic while the rest of the world developed steel, the steam engine, and medicine? Sub-Saharan Africa had contact with many of the Mediterranean and Near East Civilizations. Nubia and modern day Ethiopia in the lower Nile had contacts with Classical Egypt. Caravans brought slaves, ivory, and exotic animals for the games through the Sahara to Rome. The same trade happened when the Arabs conquered North Africa. Europeans were in contact with West Africa starting with the Portuguese centuries before the carving up of Africa during the last quarter of the 19th century. Despite all these contact lasting millennia Africa was still a ****hole.

Answer: The black slavers would have continued to enslave their fellow man like they have been doing for thousands of years. Instead of selling a few to the whites, they would have sold ALL their slaves to Middle East Muslims who would have castrated them. Africa would be more dark and genocidal than it is today...
