I’m so sorry for your loss, Ed. She had a long life and a son who cared for her ... pretty good!
So sorry to hear of your loss. Losing your mother is very difficult. Prayers for you to capture the wonderful moments of your lives together in your memories. She’ll be proud to look down on you into eternity.
Peace be with you, Ed. I’m glad you were able to be with your mother during her final hours.
Prayers for you. Hang in there. It can be a rough ride.
Lord have mercy. May her memory be eternal.
I am sorry. Praying for you and your family.
Im so sorry.
Prayers sent.
Ed thanks for posting. Husky Ed and I are brothers. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
She was the definition of a mother, and I know that she passed through the gates of Heaven that second her last breath left her body and met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Losing our parents makes us orphans at whatever age that happened.
A good friend told my wife and I that reality, when we lost our Mothers.
Everyday, that reality is there. No more phone calls, birthday cards, hugs, and “I love you!”
Their love lasts forever! So do the good memories!
I am sorry to hear. May she rest in peace.
Prayers and condolences from me. Though you feel grief, know that she had a long good life. And take comfort in knowing her life was fulfilling.
So sorry for your loss. I am happy you were able to be with her during her final hours. I’m sure your presence was very comforting for her.
Ed, sorry to learn of your loss.
I can relate, since my mother is in skilled nursing, at age 93. Her dementia is growing worse, but they can’t tell us if she will die in days, weeks or years.
My sister’s fulltime job is caring for her. The plan as of yesterday, is to take her home tomorrow.
As I remind our family, it is “one day at a time.”
I will be facing similar issues with my 94 year old mother in the next few months. There are times when I thought she would live forever and then seems like suddenly the pace of the decline quickens. You are a hero and an inspiration to me.
God bless you.
RIP
