I think it also is a recognition that a string of bad movies isn’t good for an acting career. Unfortunately, once you go political you alienate about half the people buying your product. Look for future appearances on SNL and celebrity game shows rather than movies.
I'm would assume that, in her view, only Republicans are corrupt.
