Teenage killer Morgan Leppert laughs in disturbing police tapes as she admits to murdering disabled elderly man
Viewers heard the chilling laughter of child murderer Morgan Leppert in police interview tapes from ITV documentary Children Who Kill. The show saw presenter Susanna Reid meet Leppert, who was labelled the ‘blue eyed devil’ aged 15 when she was convicted of the murder of an elderly disabled man back in 2008.
The 62-year-old man named James Stewart, was stabbed multiple times in his Florida home with metal rods and a knife, before being suffocated with a plastic bag by the teenager and her 22-year-old boyfriend Toby Lee Lowry.
Susanna met Morgan on the show as she serves a life sentence without parole, where she states how she was blinded by the relationship with her boyfriend.
Asked what she’d say to her 15-year-old self, Morgan said: ‘I wish I wasn’t so naïve and gullible. I wish I could have listened. It was like a dream. It was like every girl’s dream where you have a guy and I was the last man on earth I thought he was going to be with.
‘He turned out be a monster. He took my life away from me.
‘What stopped me running away from him? I was scared of getting killed, so I let him do what he did because I was scared of him. I wish I was smart enough then like I am now.’
The interview was interspersed with old police interview tapes, where teenage Morgan can be seen chuckling as she confirms her boyfriend is 22.

Was the murderess ever on psych drugs like ritalin? There seems to be a connection between taking psych drugs while a child and violent behavior.
No woman will ever take blame for her actions.
She sits there and blames the boyfriend for what she did.
Every man involved with any woman is her excuse. Stuff goes wrong, shes going to pin it on the guy, or her pet, or blame inanimate objects for the problem, not herself. Friend got rear ended by a old woman and hes telling the officer she drove into his car, and the lady says its not my fault, the brakes failed. the brakes didnt fail.
Why do some people always try to blame evil on drugs? EVIL exists, always has, always will. There is no excusing people like this, unfortunately the right thing is almost never done, giving them a fast one way ticket to Hell. Instead we institutionalize them, until some liberal releases them to kill again.
Sounds like her and her boyfriend both was murderous psychos. However, I can’t help but notice your answer is to blame her because she is woman. While I have to agree with you there are a lot of nuts this in fruitcake of a world. Sincerely hoping a little sweetness and joy from a female comes your way.
Read it again, not because shes a woman. She wont take responsibilit for her own actions because like all,women she blames everyone else for her own created problems. She blames her boyfriend.
Reminds me of the woman (white, mid-20s) who rapidly backed out of her driveway without looking while I was driving past. I swerved to avoid her, but she plowed into my passenger side car door. Rather than accept responsibility, she claimed that I had been speeding and had somehow skidded sideways into the rear of her stationary car.
Her girlfriend, who was with her in the car, backed up her ridiculous lie.
Fortunately a construction worker saw the whole thing. He signed a statement describing what really happened. Her insurance company paid for my repairs.
I drive with dashcams for years now for this very reason. Women have no problem at all lying through their teeth to blame you for what they did.
Why do we tolerate such evil? Just execute them and move on.
I saw where she was blaming her boyfriend. But I didn’t see anything that says ‘all women’.
Child murderers. Doesn’t fit the lefty model, so there will no outrage or protests.
