The AD and President of U AZ who agreed to this should be fired.

These ADs, presidents and boosters are so desperate for a winner they will abandon common sense. I am sure in the elation of the day they hired Miller, the fine print on the contract was the least of their worries.
To: MilesVeritatis
and why should anyone care? You forgot that.

30 years ago and it does not seem so long ago. Back then I’d pick up the preseason basketball magazines on the way home from work and I remember one with a big picture of Miller.

Personally, I don’care about this indivitual. For the story, it is important to note that he’s the first of many “top” coaches from blueblood programs likely to go down in this scandal. It should help to clean the swamp of backroom deals, under the table payments, and exploitiation of young athletes in college progams.

From Lute Olson to Loot Miller.

He’s not the first Rick Pitino.

He seems to have also lost his gig pushing Hughes Federal Credit Union. He seemed to be everywhere in their ads.

Sean Edward Miller is an American men's college basketball coach for the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Conference.
Under fire for discussing paying 100,000.00 to a player to come to U of A.
To: az_gila
You’d think that Miller would now have extra credibility talking about money.

Thank you. You are most kind to inform me of something that is completely superfluous to my life and the grand scheme of things.

So if Miller is fired with cause, Arizona will owe him approximately $5 million more ($10.3 million versus $5.15 million) than if they fired for no reason. I wonder if Sean Miller's lawyer or agent had that put in so that he would never be fired for cause even if the University had security physically toss him off campus. The terminiation would always officially be by mutual consent and "leaving to spend more time with his family".

Isn’t that called a ‘signing bonus’?
