The NFL is back in the market for a new official pizza sponsor.

Papa John’s on Tuesday said it has mutually agreed to end its official league sponsorship, months after company founder and former CEO John Schnatter publicly criticized the NFL’s handling of national anthem protests. They are not doing anything other than making a business decision.

Could say the same for those businesses dropping the NRA and those sticking with it - and any other of a thousand issues/events that occur around the time a decision is made.

Short version: What's yer point?

Good! PJ’s originally came out hard against the NFL, then backed off. The only thing I can make of it is that the NFL threatened to sue them and then let them out of their contract after a few months’ negotiation. CEO John Schnatter got fired over this whole thing and deserves to get his job back. The NFL sucks and he was 100% right to call out crappy leadership at the NFL top.
