Mine wasn’t exactly plush but the per diem wasn’t bad. If I could book the company flat across from the UN I had that much more to work with, and the black car service was on contract and didn’t show up on an expense report. Overuse or abuse it and you’d get called down, though. Most of the more grand dining was courtesy of the ad agency. Different expense account.
