On the day of the wedding the rings are removed and given to the pastor who blesses them. They are then put on the left hand.

Where will he wear the wedding ring? When they have kids, will he get a dad’s ring, too. Then there’s a ring or two for major anniversaries. Ooh, how simply fabulous his sparkly fingers will be for when he chops down that dead tree in their backyard or changes the wife’s oil... yeah, yeah, he’ll use his iphone to call some good looking real he-man hunk to change the wife’s oil.
My soon to be ex- wife didn’t hyphenate her name, but she did remove her middle, and add my last name. So, it was FIRST NAME, MAIDEN LAST NAME, MARRIED LAST NAME.

I would be careful saying that. The young kids seem to be giving each other rings today before marriage. I was surprised but it is what it is. We are old foggy’s now and will never accept what the young does so it is just an endless cycle.
I demand at least 5 carats if she wants me to take the proposal seriously... and I’m keeping the ring if it doesn’t work out!
Well, if she’s going to buy me one, it better be a nice one!
I wouldn't marry her unless she bought me a mani-pedi and a spa day as well.
