Is she a prostitute?
Why wouldn’t they ask that? Mental illness in the locker room is not a good thing.
The article explains that these provocative questions are posed in order to gauge the athletes’ temperament — can they conteol themselves when provoked or insulted. And the athletes are warned beforehand to expect to be shocked or insulted, and to keep their cool. It’s all part of the game.
In some of the locker room hazing that I’ve seen, “Do you like men?” and “Your Mom’s a Prostitute” wouldn’t even count towards the warm-up act.
That’s terrible that the team would ask such a personal question in this day and age. Absolutely outrageous.
Oh, and what was his answer?
My Lord, did you see the comments on the original?
If that were one’s only source of data, one would get the impression that Americans think sodomy is a good thing by a ratio of three or four to one.
A lawsuit?? For what?? Being offended isn’t grounds for legal action. At least, not yet.
Maybe she’s just a very affectionate person?/s
Only way to deal with this is to give it right back to them. If they ask if you like men, simply respond to the interviewer “Ask your wife if I’m hetero....btw, she was really great last night. Where’d she learn to do that with her tongue?”.
Why would they do this?!?!?!
...and what if the team asking if he likes men was San Francisco? Changes the debate, doesn’t it?
Does he like gladiator movies?
I’ve read this article on the other site.
Did you notice the guy never says how he answered the question?
I think the real test was to see if the guy would leak stuff like this to the press. And he FAILED miserably. I don’t want this guy on my team. He is NOT trustworthy. Every time their is an inside Conflict on the team that should be kept inside, you know this guy is going to slither his way to a press buddy and spill the beans.
Bye Derrius! Thanks for all the memories of being on the bench.
