Liberal Senator and potential 2020 presidential hopeful Kamala Harris issued a stark warning to Attorney General Jeff Sessions Thursday; telling the Senior Trump aide that “California represents the future” of the United States, not the past.
Harris was speaking with MSNBC News’ Chris Hayes when she scolded Sessions for his remarks in Sacramento Wednesday night; telling a roomful of law enforcement officers that California must obey “federal statutes” regarding immigration guidelines.
“This Administration and Jeff Sessions in particular have clearly put a target on the back of California and California’s going to fight,” Harris told Hayes. “And, I think that these folks are really mired in rolling back the clock in time and that’s not going to happen. California represents the future, and they don’t like it, but there you go.”
The Senator’s harsh rhetoric comes as the war of words between the Trump administration and California officials heats up over the state’s ‘Sanctuary City’ laws.
“California, we have a problem. A series of actions and events have occurred here that directly and adversely impact the work of our federal officers,” said the Attorney General.

California needs to be split into two states. Half a dozen Mid state coastal counties in the Old. The rest in New California.
She’s clearly getting a jump on nailing down all the illegal immigrant votes for her run at the Blanco Casa.

God help us if she runs and goes beyond the state of California.
She just eliminated any chance at a Presidential run.
What is wrong with these people?
CA is the future.
Which means the US is going bankrupt.
That does not matter to the Left.
California (the state government) is going to discover they’re fighting the wrong target.
They’re gonna wake up one day and discover a Rwanda-like declaration that one, er, faction is taking over and opponents (i.e.: the CA gov’t) will be summarily executed.
Trump’s suit against “sanctuary jurisdictions” is more akin to an “intervention”, a near-last-ditch effort to rescue someone from their own self-destructive behaviors.
May the love of God spare us such misery.
