Diaz’s attorneys had argued that he accidentally killed Canul-Arguello while choking him during a sexual encounter at a hook-up spot, and then ignited the fire to signal help.

Old saying:

Build a man a fire and he will be warm for an hour light a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Diaz! He’s Hispanic, probably illegal as well. He will be turned loose.

Portrero Hill is often described as being remarkably similar to Gilligan’s Island:

people have been known to be stranded there for years, having to fashion bikini tops out of coconut husks, for example.

often SOS is written out there in discarded condoms, in an attempt to signal for help from passing airplanes and helicopters.

If this was presented as fiction nobody would believe it.

Two months later, he was accused of a vicious attack in San Francisco in which he allegedly handcuffed the victim, bit a chunk out of his scalp, cut his tongue and slit his nose, ear and lip. Diaz pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and was sentenced to five years of probation.

He was probably traumatized by the harsh sentence meted out by San Francisco justice.

He’s not a ‘SF man’ even though they allege he is

“Though the jury came back with an arson conviction, Judge Donald Sullivan set it aside over prosecutors’ objections, noting that Diaz had no previous criminal record and was unlikely to set another fire.”

Probably the same judge that let the illegal alien killer of Kate Steinle off as he only found the gun and accidentally pulled the trigger.

These feel good judges need to serve the same sentence as the criminals they let loose to walk our streets.
