Then how’s come the whole world wants to come to the United States?
Many refugees resettled abroad, including in the US. My son has a good friend whose family emigrated to the US. He is in college and is pursuing an ROTC commission in the Army.
But, never confuse the left with facts.
No carbon emissions? Have they not yet discovered fire? Do they subsist on raw Yak meat and grass? (Someone should clue them in - fire is great for all kinds of things, like...cooking food.)
“It’s true, because I say it’s true!” [/Libspeak]
Yeah, no.
No Carbon emissions would mean they were all dead.
Of course there is a saying about, "Call no man happy until he is dead" so maybe that is what they mean.
Everything and everybody there has been dead for a very long time.
No carbon emissions? I think the National Geographic is just funnin’ with us.
Here’s a site were you can buy cars in Bhutan. There are dozens available. And the cars come with gas or diesel engines. So I’m guessing you can drive them right off the lot.
Maybe it would be a good place for Al Gore to go and live out the rest of his years.
No fart land.
In that climate and they don’t heat their homes?
I don’t believe it.
There’s no objective way to compare happiness. Maybe they have the happiness of the brainwashed.
They need a mall and a big parking lot full of SUVs. Youd see smiles all around.
I’m guessing the “world’s happiest country” also has no illegal immigration problem.
If there are people then there are carbon emissions. What’s so wrong with carbon anyway?
Hmm. I see pictures of paved divided highways with cars and other motor vehicles on them in Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu. That city is also served by Paro Airport, which is an hour away by road.
Another day, another pile of left-wing manure.
It appears that Bhutan is the world’s happiest country because their government has declared themselves to be according to their self-scored Gross Happiness Index.
But buried deep in the article: “The index hasn’t solved all the country’s problems, of course. A recent U.N. World Happiness Report ranked Bhutan 97th world-wide. Factors like an income gap and unemployment partially accounted for that.”
At least the impoverished, unemployed peasants can enjoy the sublime inner peace of knowing they are carbon neutral.
Probably one race, one religion, one dictator for life.

I thought that Finland was the happiest.
