Eileen - Dexys Midnight Runners Loved that song. Tried singing it at Karaoke once. Much harder than it sounds.

I would like to nominate “Walk This Way” by Run DMC and that big mouth guy that dresses like a loose woman.
Truly awful, and signaled the beginning of the end of everything good.

Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes. The worst song ever made.
Copy that!

Mr. Roboto could be the greatest song of the 80s. So multi-cultural. Judging 80s pop songs by 'multi-cultural' content is a slippery slope.

I think "Walk Like An Egyptian" at least deserves honorable mention here...
How dare you besmirch the great Susannah Hoffs!
Susannah Hoffs can sing anything she wants!

I LOVE these songs! Well, at least most of them, and the others I like pretty well. Dont hate any of them.
What a bunch of baloney. Undoubtedly a poll of the fringe element who think they are so prominent thanks to the internet connections they make. The kind who like album-oriented rock; I.e., the music no one listens to.

When you’re someone people can’t help but want to hurt (preferably without touching), you shouldn’t call your song “Do you really want to hurt me?”

I’ll totally ‘date’ myself but we did an AWESOME Jazzercise routine to that song!
I like TFT’s ‘Sewing the Seeds of Love’ I like the orchestration.

GREAT song, weird video.
Which is why I was glad we didnt have cable then so I couldnt have MTV ruin my view of songs. My husband showed me that the first time in 2005 or so.

>>More like the 10 BEST Songs of the ‘80’s!<<
The 80s had Boston, Dire Straights, Stray Cats, Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Styx, the B-52s and so many more and you think that list of drek was the best?
Or was that sarcasm and I missed it?

4. Wham! - 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)'
I nominate that for gayest song and video of all time. That abomination made Liberace look like Chuck Norris by comparison.
